There are countless songs that not only influenced God's Will but have kept me driven with it even in moments of insecurity and wondering why in the world I was writing. There are also many songs that fit so perfectly with the story that plays as a movie in my head that they could be on it's soundtrack ... if it were a movie. *smile*

Tell me I'm not the only one who sees her novel{s} as a movie? LOL

Within the book there are many mentions and lyrics of classic hymns such as It is Well, Amazing Grace and Jesus Paid It All. One hymn that did not make it into the final book is the lesser known, There is a Fountain. I played this song on my computer and also on our piano countless times through out the writing of this book. Especially in the latter half. Not giving spoilers to the book is hard. Suffice it enough to say two characters come to the Lord like the Prodigal Son story from the Gospels.

One song I absolutely love for God's Will is Someone Worth Dying For by MikesChair. It touches on almost all of the principal characters in some form or another and their growth from Chapter One to the Epilogue. Check the song out here, as well as sixteen others you can listen through as you read God's Will.<<Available on Amazon in paperback and for the Kindle.

Words, history, and grace color my days here in The Burgh where I seek out the perfect coffee and red lipstick.

  1. Meghan, you aren't the only one! :-) I sometimes close my eyes as I write and "watch" the scene. It results in some typos, but it gives me some intense scenes as well!

Pull up a chair, grab a cup of something hot or cold to drink, and enjoy. I love making new friends!
