Waves of Mercy, Waves of Grace (And another giveaway!)

Ever since arriving on our vacation a week ago yesterday I've had this old worship song stuck in my head. Any other church kids remember the lyric: Waves of mercy, waves of grace? Everywhere I look--I see Your face!
And it fits right now.
Celebrating the novel of my heart's second "birthday" is not so much cheering for it or relaunching it so I gain more readers or better numbers. It's just all one big praise/thanksgiving session to the Author and Finisher of my faith. Who, despite the family crises' of late that has me drifting in and out of doubt and resentment over circumstances--has been SO immensely good to hold my hand, draw my eyes back up to Him and His will that is perfect. Despite my book title--it's a lesson I don't think I'll ever be through learning until the day I die.

Some gifts/waves of grace recently include:

  • Vacation! Rest, getting away from it all...and getting burnt to a crisp my third day here.
  • The ocean. A visible reminder of how BIG God is--and how deep His love is for us.
  • Two-plus days with one of my best friends, Sarah. In which we got sunburnt, laughed until our sides ached, and got some much-needed soul-sharing/togetherness.
  • Late night card games with my grandparents
  • Seeing my two youngest siblings fall in love seeing the ocean for the first time.

the last giveaway for a signed paperback open for two more days!

Another huge blessing was being able to share some stories behind the story of the novel of my heart thanks to these wonderful fellow authors:
